— — A Tennessee man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a girl who he said was 11 years old in a hotel room, authorities said Monday.

James Dwayne McBride, 29, was arrested Monday morning after a woman who was staying at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Nashville was assaulted inside the hotel on April 24, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

McBride allegedly sexually assaulted the woman inside the Hybondor Hotel after she refused to have sex with him, police said.

He was arrested on charges of child molestation and child neglect.

Authorities said he also allegedly touched the girl inside the room, which was connected to a motel.

Authorities are investigating whether the alleged victim was aware that McBride was a celebrity when she was assaulted.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is working with authorities to determine if the sexual assault occurred.

McBRIDE has been held in the Rutherford County Jail on $100,000 bond, according, according a news release from the Rutherford Police Department Monday.

Authorities say they have spoken to a former member of McBride’s band who is a witness to the alleged assault.

McBride was a member of the band Bad Bunny, which released two albums and a compilation in the mid-2000s.
