How a German soccer star’s passion for the game led to him becoming a hero for a nation

Golf shoes are not the only item that can make a footballer a hero.

A football player who loves to dribble, shoot, kick and score has become a hero to the people of Germany.

The midfielder has helped the country’s football team become World Cup champions, has been crowned a Player of the Year and was a member of the German Football Union’s top-flight squad in 2017.

Fritz Schmidt is not just the latest hero for Germany.

He is a German footballer with a passion for soccer.

“I’m just the person who makes the game fun,” said the 27-year-old.

“If I’m the one who brings people together, they love it.”

That’s why I’m such a good friend of the club.

The club has helped me so much.

“The fans in Munich are so great, it’s amazing.”

Schmidt scored in the Champions League final in the club’s first appearance at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he scored a penalty in extra time.

“To play the final against England was something special for me,” he said.

“It was one of my happiest moments.”

Schultz is the fourth German footballer to have played for the club and is the only one to have been capped at both youth and senior levels.

“We’re proud of Fritz and he’s a very special person,” said Schmidt.

“He’s a great guy.

I’m so happy to be playing for the Red Devils.”

Schönberg joined the Red Devil squad on a three-year deal from German side Schalke 04 in March 2016.

The forward has since scored 18 goals in 73 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.

The striker also has a Bundesliga record of 14 goals in 18 appearances.

Schönber has scored more than 50 goals in the Bundesliga, and his 27 goals in 75 appearances is second only to Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Schmidt has played for two German teams in the past and is set to join the Red Star Belgrade in the Serbian second division.

Schneider’s Bundesliga goal tally has been a major coup for the Reds, who currently sit third in the table.

“It’s been a very good year for me and I’m very happy,” he added.

“I’m very grateful to the club for this opportunity.”

With the support of the Red Stars I’m sure I can help this club continue on the right track.
